The Clean Energy Group (CEG) is a coalition of forward-thinking electric generating and electric distribution companies that share a commitment to decarbonization and responsible environmental stewardship. Founded in 1997, the mission of CEG is to enhance the efforts of its members in understanding state and federal regulatory and policy developments in the areas of climate, air quality, and clean energy. CEG helps its members advance regulatory and legislative priorities, apply timely updates to support decision making, and achieve their decarbonization goals.
CEG members receive timely notice of and insight regarding major power sector environmental regulations and legislation. The coalition offers a forum for members to share their views, discuss the implications of emerging environmental and energy issues, and develop targeted response actions. CEG members have access to key government officials, environmental NGOs, and other stakeholders involved in energy, air quality, and climate fields.
