Anibal Díaz is an ERM Partner with vast experience in the Mining Sector among others, supporting leading companies to develop sustainable projects. He has been leading multidisciplinary teams to collect baseline information, assess environmental and social impacts and propose mitigation measures.

His expertise also includes environmental and social due diligence, permitting, IFC/World Bank regulatory compliance, designing an implementation of environmental construction and operation monitoring programs, public participation processes and environmental management plans.

Mr. Diaz worked and managed large Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) for projects in Latin-America.

Jose Carlos is the Country Manager of ERM in Peru and a partner for sustainability topics, he has more than 18 years of management experience in environmental and social investment projects in public and private sectors, and multilateral and civil society organizations in Latin America, Asia, and Africa.

Jose Carlos is an expert in social strategy with extensive experience in governance, value chain, and sustainable development projects in the extractive sector globally. He has designed and managed management systems (integrated complaints and claims system, rural business management) awarded for their innovation and contribution to the generation of value in the mining environment. He has led high-level initiatives linked to sustainability and technological innovation involving international cooperation and governments in Latin America.

He is an economist with a degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and a master's degree from Duke University in the US, focusing on sustainability. In addition, he has studies in environmental economic valuation at Stanford University and social investment management at ESAN Business School.

Alexandra Guaqueta is a Senior Partner, working out of the Washington DC office on domestic and global projects across several industry sectors. She utilizes her industry background to support corporate leadership teams in the formulation and implementation of ESG policies in matrixed organizations. Building on her experience working with governments, international organizations, and civil society, Alexandra advises businesses on reputational risk and multi-stakeholder engagement. She is a former member of the UN Working Group on Business and Human Rights and led the global dissemination of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, which underpins today’s standards on social impact and due diligence.
