Michael leads ERM’s Renewable Energy practice across the Asia Pacific region. In the past 12 months, ERM has supported its clients on over 40GW of renewable project developments across the region. With over 20 years of experience in the Renewables, Technology, Infrastructure and Government sectors, he is a trusted advisor to boards and senior executives on the transformation and development of solar, battery, wind, hydrogen, microgrid and marine renewables projects. Michael has previously held notable leadership positions, including CEO and Non-Executive Director Roles of ASX-listed energy and technology companies.

Richard has over 40 years’ experience in project and construction management. Core skills and experience in project management and technical leadership have been gained through working on complex and innovative projects in the UK, Europe, Central America, Africa and SE Asia. Richard served in the British Army (Royal Engineers) for 20 years and was awarded

the British Empire Medal (BEM) in HM The Queen’s Birthday Honours List 1992 for his work in Cyprus during a severe drought period. Subsequently, he has been working in the renewable energy sector (offshore and onshore wind) for the last 20 years.
