Al is a Partner and ERMs Safety Services Lead in the EMEA region with over 20 years’ experience in HSE consultancy and industry. Al’s expertise lies in supporting organizations with the management of HSE risk through the combination of effective management systems and leadership engagement (at all levels). Al has a particular focus on the energy sector, both conventional and renewables, and has worked on a wide range of projects in the UK and internationally. Al is an accomplished speaker and facilitator working with leadership groups and teams to align around their HSE objectives and develop practical improvement programs.

Renewables are key to the energy mix of the future, and companies (large and small) will need to work hard to ensure the generation, storage and use of renewable energy is safe, secure, and sustainable. It is important that we understand and manage the risks associated with health, safety, and sustainability, and take opportunities to learn from others.
The conference will share international good practices and cross-sectoral learning, to ensure we manage and control our hazards safely and responsibly and protect our planet by delivering a more sustainable energy system.
